Bentangaval Self-Catering offers a beautifully furnished and very well-equipped holiday house in a stunning coastal location, yet within walking distance of Castlebay.  It is ideal for a relaxing self-catering holiday in the lovely Isle of Barra, one of the most remote and beautiful islands in the Hebrides.  With spacious accommodation for up to 8 people, the house is ideally suited to families or groups, or couples who like plenty of space.  There is a large garden, where you can sit and enjoy the fantastic views of Maoldonaich Island, and children can play on the climbing frame.  Unspoilt beaches, walks and Kisimul Castle are all within easy reach.

The house is located on the scenic road to Vatersay, less than a mile from Castlebay, where you will find shops, restaurants, and bars as well as the main ferry terminal, swimming pool, library, Heritage Centre and café.

When the weather is “droch”, there is a cosy open fire as well as modern electric heating throughout.  There is a wide-screen satellite TV/Video/DVD player, hi-fi, a range of books, games, and a full-size table football!  A credit card payphone with modem point is provided.  There is also a heated drying cupboard for use in wet weather.

No smoking is permitted, and unfortunately we are unable to accept pets.
